Although Minaj is best known for her music, she also loves acting and got a start when she was only in high school. Talking about her time at New York's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts to Nylon, Minaj said, "At that time I was obsessed with Jada Pinkett [Smith]—I wanted to be Jada and Halle [Berry] mixed. Now I'm going back to those desires."
